In February 2008, I received the PhD in Information Technology from the University of Milan. My PhD thesis focused on Access control in Service Oriented Architectures.
From March 2009 to January 2015, I was a post doctoral fellow in the Security Group at the Department of Information Engineering and Computer Science of the University of Trento. Before, I spent one year as post-doctoral fellow at the Computer Science Department of Purdue University.
My main research interests are in the area of data security and privacy with particular focus on access control for service-oriented applications, privacy-aware access control in social networks, and privacy-preserving digital identity management. My recent research interests focus on empirical evaluations of security risk assessment and security requirements engineering methods, security requirements evolution, and privacy management for Big Data.
I published more than 50 contributions as papers in international conferences and journals, and chapters in international books. I also co-authored the book Security for Web Services and Service Oriented Architectures edited by Springer.
